Vianka Salazar
Another Santa Clarita Valley teenager has gone missing and her family and friends are searching for her.
Vianka Salazar, 15, a Canyon High student, was reported missing by her family Tuesday night after she didn’t return home.
She told family members she was going to the Canyon Country library with friends, but was later seen on her cellphone on Soledad Canyon Road, near Galeton Road, according to Vianka’s older brother, Rey.
A report was filed with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station on Tuesday night.
“As a matter of course, deputies will be looking into the areas where the girl is known to frequent, following up with relatives and entering the name in a computer system,” said Lt. Tom Bryski of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, “so if they’re located we can re-unite them with their family.”
“Deputies follow every lead we possibly can to find the children,” he added.

Attempts to find her through her cellphone yielded only the last place it was used, Rey Salazar said, which was near a gas station at that intersection.
She was last seen around 3 p.m. wearing light blue high-waisted jeans with a black crop top and purple sandals, her brother said.
She is described as 5 foot, 6 inches tall, 95-110 pounds, with braces and shoulder length black hair.
Vianka runs on the cross country team for her high school, Rey Salazar said.
“This is really out of character,” Salazar said, adding she usually picks up her nephew for him and helps him get home. “She’s never gone more than an hour without communicating with us.”
She frequently hangs out at Starbucks with her friends, whom she often meets outside of the Boys & Girls Club facility near Sierra Vista Junior High School.
Vianka is the second Santa Clarita Valley teenage girl to be reported missing by her family in the last two weeks, officials said.
Maria Espinola
Family members of Maria Espinola are still seeking their daughter, as well. She was first reported missing Sunday, Sept. 28, from Maria’s home on the 27400 block of Garza Drive on Sunday around 5:30 p.m., according to her mother, Leticia Espinola.
Her mother said the Bowman High student has a history of mental health issues, and she’s concerned for her daughter’s well being.
Family members are asking Santa Clarita Valley residents to call the Sheriff’s Station at 661-255-1121 if they have any information on the whereabouts of either girl.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies received 368 reports of missing people in 2013.

She’s home
Sex trade active in SCF sorry to say…
Are they both Latinas?
I knew about it . Someone said one was home.
They look very similar! Scary
They usually end up being runaways. That’s why the media doesn’t cover it unless it’s suspicious. Unfortunately, some kids don’t get a better life from running away, but some do. Sorry, Maury Povitch. We aren’t all lucky to be born into good families.
Btw…they look nothing alike. Just saying.
They’re runaways. They pbly wouldn’t have ran away if their parents sucked. They’ll pbly be better off. Some runaways actually do better in life. Sorry, Maury Povitch.
Maria has a mental problem. Has nothing to do with the parents.
Your an idiot Richie. Leave your personal parental issues out of this.
The girl in this post was found safe.
FOUND! http://www.signalscv.com/m/section/36/article/128572/
Please share.
where’s Maria though?
So the one on the right is the one that runs away all the time. She’s been found? The one in the left is Lexie and she is still missing? Good job SCVTV. Always makes it confusing to tie 2 stories into one just cause they are similar.
Praying!
God please bring her safe and sound home in Jesus name amen.
They have both been found thank god.
Lexie is still missing but she is from Palmdale.
