The Santa Clarita Community College District Board of Trustees will hold a business meeting Wednesday, Nov. 13, beginning at 5 p.m. The board will first meet in closed session at 3 p.m.

The board will consider making appointments to the Santa Clarita Community College District Independent Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee.

The recommendation for appointment of committee members by the Board of Trustees is made by the President and includes the following individuals and organizational positions:

1) Leticia Meza-Guerrero Santa Clarita Community College District Support Organization.

2) Ivan Volschenk Business Organization Representing the Local Business Community.

The board will also consider two requests made by former Santa Clarita Valley resident Stephen Petzold to release closed session information on the dismissal of former COC President Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook and an additional request for the board to refund $218,613 to Measure E funds.

The meeting will be held in the University Center, Room 301 on the Valencia campus of College of the Canyons, located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road, Valencia, CA 91355.
