Yikes
Doesn’t sound random at least
Nonetheless thugs everywhere even in previous “awesome town”
Lol “thugs in scv” hahahahahahaha ?
apparently if you’re from Santa Clarita you are incapable of committing crime
Awesome Town? SCV or what was SCV is long gone.
Such negative comments! Lived here 50 years. Still think it’s safer than any where else within 100 mile radius, maybe more. If I’m wrong, then move there asap. Grow pot in your home, you may get a gun in your face from a drug user. Hummm, stupid !
Yes I moved from Palmdale recently and Valencia is way different! There’s hardly any police activity and there aren’t any dangerous people walking around the streets., it’s actually safe to go outside. People just notice the negative here and not the positive. They need to go outside of the SCV and see what crime really is
Go to Compton to see real crime. Palmdale aint getto.
Shirley there is a place that’s way safer 30 miles away. It’s called Acton and while you may run the risk of getting mauled by a mountain lion, you never see babies being left to die under bridges or kids living on the street. SCV has gone from white suburb to borderline ghetto full of tweakers on junkies. Like 90% of the population you live in suburban lala-land and are blind to the filth that inhabits the earth around you.
Not sure why you felt this was personal Shirley. Telling me to move and calling me stupid? Wow! All I said was SCV is no longer the same SCV it once was. Back in the the day, we were a beautiful sleepy town. Today…not so much. Funny…when you just share an opinion, people feel attacked. That’s stupid!
Well put Caleb Skusa.
Here we go?
Then move !!!
Acton is a small town that’s why
There’s actually 6 registered sex offenders that live in acton right now
There are other places that have way more crime than we do here
You may not hear of crimes in other places because there aren’t any Facebook pages like scv TV that say of news and crimes in that area
FYI…there are 41 registered sex offenders living in SCV.
I researched antelope valley on two websites and there’s 876 in the antelope valley
Mark, sorry but that wasn’t about you. I thought it was stupid to grow pot in his house and let anyone know. I wouldn’t take anything personal I read here. It’s fun to get different prospectives on the city. It’s interesting after living here so long. I really appreciate how really great this city is and hate to hear it bad mouthed so much lately.
Thank you Shirley…I agree with you 100%. Have a great weekend!! ?
Yeah it’s interesting to see what others think of the SCV but no matter what you say everyone has opinions about any city and we shouldn’t argue with each other about it so everyone’s happy
Yet SCV still has one of the lowest crime rates
The date of your quoting is a couple years old, if you take the time and look it up I do believe we have the highest homicide rate in LA right now
This is as of August 26 this year
So your also saying that SCV has more crime than Compton ?
That crime rate map includes CC too and it’s still low. You notice how bad a lot of places are when you go somewhere outside of the scv
you know what they say about statistics. the fact is, if 12 major crimes per day is the average, then a city (like Santa Clarita) with 11 major crimes per day is very low and a city with 13 major crimes per day is very high. Ultimately the fact remains that we still have 11 major crimes per day, and if folks want to argue that we are therefore so much safer than a city with 12 major crimes per day, well… don’t know what to say.
How did you come up with 11 crimes and 13 crimes or where is it from
Well one crime higher or lower doesn’t draw the line between really safe and really dangerous
Did I miss something or is Santa Clarita not part of Los Angeles County anymore
What are you trying to say
No such thing as “Medical Marijuana”. Stand by for more if the same if it’s legalized. 6 plants isn’t personal use. Hard to feel sorry for a dope dealer.
Inside job
Why do you think they call it dope????
And that’s why “they” (you) call it dope.
Me. I don’t call tetrahydrocannabinol dope.
You are entitled to your opinion as am I
@angiepants23
Tell them to come to my house !
Perfect excuse to shoot a tweeker!!!
I’m waiting ??
The cops should patrol around jack in the box… those potheads should be getting hungry!
