Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested a Stevenson Ranch man for allegedly receiving stolen property and a pair of transients in Newhall on multiple warrants on Tuesday, according to station officials.
Here’s the transient arrest story from the station’s Facebook page:
“Patrol deputies made contact with two transients on Railroad Avenue in Newhall (Tuesday) morning.
“The male white adult, age 31, and the male Hispanic adult, 40, had a combined total of over $200,000 in warrants that ranged from theft and narcotics to domestic violence.
“They’re in our jail now!”

“Crime Impact Team deputies, with the assistance of detectives, patrol deputies, and LA County Probation department, conducted a search at a home in Stevenson Ranch where a known probationer was dwelling.
“Deputies arrested the probationer, a male white adult, 51 years old, on charges of reasonable cause receiving stolen property after he was found in possession of a mountain bike, valued at approximately $4,000, that had the serial numbers obliterated.”
