I would offer an argument of substance, but SCVTV is not the place for it. The types of comments this page attracts (and tolerates) is enough for me to know not to take these threads seriously. Ad hominem has to do with reason? As if “reason” isn’t loaded in white patriarchy (I won’t waste the effort elaborating since I’m doubtful you think racism or sexism exist). You can quote Oxford or Miriam Webster or any white supremacist dictionary you’d like. Ad hominem is, in simplest terms, when you argue against the arguer rather than the argument (such as telling me to grow up and saying I’m whining like a baby wanting to be victimized ;) ).

yes spending 6% of our budget on education is way too expensive. Just hearing a lot of murmuring around the office water cooler, seems like democrats and rebulicans are starting to sing the same toon. The left has horrible candidates. Hillary is dying a slow death. Nobody thinks Sanders looks good. Biden who? Oh that guy taking pictures with Obama. All the talk is on Trump and Carson. I think these 2 will team up and be an unstoppable force. The Democrats I know don’t like Trumps harsheness, but also recognize we need a president who will take action.
