PT-8100N
Valencia-based LiveViewGPS, a leading supplier of GPS tracking devices, has launched two new products it says are ideal for covert operations.
Measuring just 2.75 by 1.6 inches, the PT-8100N “can be used to protect valuable merchandise and equipment, as well as loved ones, including children and elderly persons,” the company says. It uses an internal battery with a life of 10 days to six months depending on the configuration.
The PT-8100N can be configured from LiveViewGPS’ website to send an e-mail and text message at intervals defined by the user, and it can send an alert if the device enters a specified area.
PT-8500
The even smaller PT-8500 measures 2.5 by 1 inch, weighs 0.8 ounces and is one of the smallest GPS trackers on the market. It operates in impaired environments even when there is no clear view to the sky – such as under a car, inside a cargo container or in a child’s backpack. It automatically transmits its location each time motion is detected.
The PT-8100N sells for $149, the PT-8500 series for $289 and up, and various subscriptions plans are available.
Located in the Valencia Commerce Center, LiveViewGPS provides wireless location products and services for small and large businesses, law enforcement and family safety. For information call 888-544-0494.
