The Valencia football team is in search of its first win of the season in a match-up of top 10 teams from the Southern Section Northern Division.
The Vikings are 0-2 to start the season, but are still ranked No. 9 in the Northern Division.
Righetti is 1-2 and ranked No. 10 in the Northern Division.
The games is at Valencia. Kickoff is set for 7.
In other games tonight, Canyon, the top-ranked team in the Northern Division, is on the road against Quartz Hill. The Cowboys are 3-0 and are averaging more than 50 points per game.
Quartz Hill is 0-2 and will have its hands full tonight.
Hart, the No. 2 team in the Northern Division, travels to play Ridgeview. The Indians won their first game of the season last week in blowout fashion, 51-3, against La Palma Kennedy.
Saugus is home for a game against Ventura at College of the Canyons. The Centurions have lost two games in a row since winning their season opener three weeks ago.

In high school golf, the Golden Valley girls beat Palmdale by 63 strokes in a match at Crystalaire Country Club.
Amanda Hobbs shot the low round for Golden Valley, a 4-over 42.
The Hart girls beat Granada Hills by 43 strokes in a match at the Valencia Country Club. Hart’s Jamie Corr had the low round of the day, a 3-over 39.
The Saugus girls golf team beat Burroughs by 13 strokes in a match at El Cariso Golf Course in Sylmar. Brittney Eidem shot a 2-over 38.
In girls volleyball, the Albert Einstein Academy swept Pilgrim in three sets.
The Santa Clarita Christian girls lost to California City in five.
The Dodgers dropped another one-run game, this time 2-1 to the visiting St. Louis Cardinals. The Dodgers have lost four games in a row and seven of their past eight.
