[Providence] – Michael Pin, M.D., a family practitioner in the community for more than 25 years, will open his new Providence Medical Institute office Monday at the Bridgeport Marketplace, bringing his long-time primary care, urgent care and employer health to the heart of the city.

As is Providence’s tradition, Sr. Colleen Settles, OP, led a blessing Thursday night of the new and much larger quarters an anointed the hands of the medical staff and office workers. “We are so happy to be here in a location convenient to all the communities we serve here in the Santa Clarita Valley,” said Dr. Pin, who was joined recently in his practice by Erik Bezema, M.D., also a board-certified family practitioner.

Dr. Pin and Providence Medical Institute have been recognized the past four years by the U.S. Commerce Association as the community’s “Best Family Practice Doctor.”

The new location provides for 2,000 more square feet, for a total of 5,300 square feet, and includes five additional exam rooms, for a total of 13. Santa Clarita PMI provides family care, urgent care, screenings, treatment of work-related injuries, X-rays onsite, a procedure room and a state-of-the-art electronic health record system that includes secure patient access.

The office is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
