The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a 91-year-old man who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and is in need of medical care.
Apolonio Gomez was last seen on Jan. 6 around 6 p.m. in the 5500 block of Marmion Way in the city of Los Angeles. He was driving a silver 2013 Honda Accord with license plate 6YGH760.
Freeway Changeable Message Signs around the Santa Clarita Valley are displaying messages about the missing man as of 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Gomez is described as a 91-year-old male Hispanic with gray hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 135 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt, grey jeans, grey and black tennis shoes and a black jacket. Gomez also wears prescription glasses.
His family is extremely concerned that he has not been located.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gomez is asked to contact Detective L. Saiza, LAPD Missing Persons Unit, at 213-996-1800.
