Yeah, I replace my lawn but nobody could answer my questions when I inquired as Valencia Water (my provider) was going through acquisition so by the time I got someone that could help me the work was almost complete and my application was denied. A LOT OF HOOPS for nothing.
Just goes to show you why a water monopoly is no good. Valencia was essentially acquired “overnight’24 houra notice to the public, CLWA spent $73 million of our tax money to buy it from Newhall Land and farming. So, it was CLWA that goofed up your application. And why replace lawns, so that CLWA can provide water for Newhall Ranch as it promised Newhall Land that it would when they bought Valencia Water? Everyone should oppose CLWA becoming a water monopoly. This would be a bad move for our valley.
BTW – don’t forget to drip irrigate you trees. They will die without water.
