slurry sealThe city of Santa Clarita continues its summer road rehab project this week, as crews resurface streets with slurry seal, a coating of fine crushed aggregate, asphalt and water.

The process extends the life of the roadway.

Night work on Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country starts Monday and will go on nightly through Friday.

City officials urge residents to alter their driving routes to avoid delays.

  2. True Debbie. But it’s better then nothing. Still waiting for Whispering Lvs.dr. To be on the list. The top portion is horrible.weeds growing through some parts?

  3. They did a not-so-great job on Babington. Not smooth at all!!

  4. Cracks were being sealed in my area a couple weeks ago. It’s still all over my tires, I can’t get it off. They haven’t resurfaced yet.

  5. I just can’t figure it out. Oh yeah, job went to the ” Lowest Bidder” . These roads rattle this old buggy to pieces, and the pot holes , you guys wanna feel how terrible our roads are let me take you for a ride .
