People drive like maniacs
Dan Seeder. This is what you were stuck in this morning?
??
For the life of me , I still don’t understand solo accidents. You have a lane, just drive in it.
How sad Karla Love-Reyes
A one year old that wasn’t restrained in a car seat?? My blood is BOILING
It didn’t say 1 year old did it? I thought I’d said infant. my worst fear was my baby’s were always too small for the infant car seats and something like this could happen. Praying for the family that just lost the sweet baby girl ?
Other news was a 1year old. Unrestrained! Unbelievable!
It was a 1 year old.
8 months old I believe
She wasn’t restrained?? This report doesn’t say that, but I cannot imagine why a parent would be willing to take that risk ???
In the end the age doesn’t matter. That poor baby isn’t getting any older thanks to the adult criminally not having her passenger restrained properly. (Assumption being it is her mom but not actually in the reports). Not knowing the reason for the accident but no excuse for the lack of restraint.
Krystal Voshell the baby was thrown from the SUV.
All in all , it’s very sad to see thing like that…
Heidi Gray Webber It doesn’t mean the child wasn’t restrained just because it was thrown from the vehicle…wait for all the facts….
They said the child wasn’t properly restrained.
I have seen this a lot driving on the Fwy’ s kids walking around a mini van etc. Other reports are saying Alcohol or Drugs suspected.. No excuse. I won’t jump to conclusions until all the facts are in and 100% accurate. Either way this family has been torn apart and a child is gone and the other children are still in need of prayers.
Angel Olmedo ???
very sad,
Amy Martinez
Read it earlier so sad!
When I heard about this horrific accident, my heart sank. Loss of life is hard enough but a baby? I’m heartbroken.
Lee Lee
Jack’s Ornamental Iron Gates this is what you were stuck in this morning
We’re any of the children wearing seatbelts ?
Even more heartbreaking if you come to find out that she was drinking and driving. Rest in peace little angel
So sad. I hope her other children will recover. This was a morning for death. While some saw this accident while driving north on the 14, I saw the deceased man laying on the side of Sierra Highway (Newhall) while leaving Santa Clarita going south. (Appears to be a shooting, self-inflicted perhaps.) I was so surprised that they did not cover him up.
Que tristesa como hay jente que pueda manejar tomada yevando sus hijos ….nosotros pasamos y miramos que serraron el friway
My Dad was driving to visit us in Henderson and delayed over an hour by this tragic accident. People need to slow down and be careful especially when children are in the car.
Danielle
Yikes, heard sirens this morning & I said a prayer as I normally do but too late. Oh sooo very tragic.
SLOW! DOWN! !
Brittany Carlson :-(
Dallas Coffey Is this what you were talking about in Snap Chatt??
It appears the 8-yo boy has passed away as well now. (I’m reading the other 8-yo was a girl. They were twins.) So sad. :(
So horrible.
PLEASE SLOW DOWN PEOPLE.
What is up W/ the “thumbs up” emojis?! Just curious? Bec as far as I’m concerned that’s a resounding thumbs down??????
An accident on this highway everyday. When are the people of the highway department going to finally fix the lanes so they don’t go from three lanes to two and back again no less than 5 times from Highway 5 to Highway 58?
I have seen this a lot driving on the Fwy’ s kids walking around a mini van etc. Other reports are saying Alcohol or Drugs suspected.. No excuse. I won’t jump to conclusions until all the facts are in and 100% accurate. Either way this family has been torn apart and a child is gone and the other children are still in need of prayers.
I read that one of the other 8 yr olds also passed. And I agree with you. All facts and a terrible tragedy for this family.
Yes I just saw that as well. Tragedy
Im so sorry for their loss, so sad. Lets not jump to conclusions. A fireman friend of mine, once told me that he has seen accidents where babies are restrained and still ejected, mostly because of car seats being improperly secured. I suggest everyone take their car seats to a local fire station and have them show you how to do it properly. You will be surprised how most of us are doing it incorrectly.
My prayers sent to all involved, and to the first responders??,angels and they too have to face and see tragedies….thank you for being there for all! Strength and Prayers to all! Saddened!
This happened right in front of me… yes people PLEASE SLOW down!
