1971 - Fort Tejon added to National Register of Historic Places [story]
Fort Tejon

Deputies assigned to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station summer violent crime enforcement program conducted what appeared to be a routine traffic stop in Castaic Friday night at 7.

During the course of the traffic stop and subsequent investigation, deputies discovered a significant amount of hash, hash oil, and related narcotic paraphernalia.

Two adult males, both from the Bakersfield area, were arrested for possession of more than 300 envelopes and 100 plastic jars, each containing concentrated cannabis in a form commonly referred to as “honey wax” or “wax.” During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that the shipment of “wax” was allegedly en route to a music festival in San Bernardino County.

Also known as “ear wax,” or simply “wax,” this marijuana concentrate is more powerful. Far more powerful. It allegedly leads to a quicker, stronger high, “wax” is said to be the strongest form of marijuana on the market. “Wax” allegedly has psychoactive properties and is extremely dangerous for people trying to make it at home.

The names of the two male adults placed under arrest are not being released at this time as this investigation is continuing. More information will be released as it becomes available.

  5. Paul Mahone says:

We should all be thankful that we have the government and the police to tell us what we can and can’t put into our bodies. Because we are obviously not smart enough (or free enough) to think for ourselves.

  8. Pedro says:

I love how the idiots always make comments about something being legal that’s not. Obviously the cops know better than you if they can arrest someone. Possession of Hash or hash oil is a felony. Know your laws dorks. They were transporting a large amount and had it separated for sales. It’s obvious by the picture. Why don’t you freaks go smoke your turd weed and lose all your usefullness.

    • Matt says:

Do you honestly think that police officers don’t make mistakes? Not only that, but they don’t always make lawful arrests. This case can be dropped in court; you’re assumption that they know what they’re doing is cute but ignorant. The law is flimsy on this one, but hash and concentrates are not a felony; unless the amount is enough to say they intended to distribute. In this case that is pretty obvious they did. Even without a medicinal prescription hash can be charged as a misdemeanor and in some cases a felony. It is legal under prop 215. Know your laws before educating others. http://www.canorml.org/camjlaws.html

  9. Not legal even tho they sell it in medicinal clubs it is still a felony.

  10. Not legal even tho they sell it in medicinal clubs it is still a felony.

    • Matt says:

Wasn’t necessary to post this twice. However, you are incorrect about it being a felony. Concentrated thc is legal per prop 215. Shove it.

  11. SANTA CLARITA VALLEY SHERRIFFS STATION VIOLENT CRIME ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM?!?!?!?

  12. Pedro says:

Like I said the idiots. Oh well at least those cops will have job security. Also, you live in one of the most free countries in the world, and yet you complain about the few rules you have. What a bunch of winers. Maybe you should man up and do the right thing instead of wining about how it’s not fair that your nasty turd weed ain’t free. Have you even read prop 215. Your anxiety problems are a lame excuse for medical marijauana. Maybe you should grow a pair. Bottom feeders

    • Matt says:

First off, it’s spelled, whiners. Not, winers. How can you call someone an idiot when you can’t spell a word on a computer or device that has spellcheck. Such a simple word at that. Obviously you need to consider turning that option back on. Secondly, I don’t smoke marijuana. I have however read prop 215. I am educated. Lastly, who’s whining? Why do you care? Do you really think it matters what people use marijuana for. There are plenty of arguments that are justifiable as to why it should be legalized and really none worth mentioning for the opposition. Now shove it Pedro. You exemplify the ignorance that is wrong with many of our countries inhabitants.

  13. Good job officers! Now let’s just think again how stupid states like Colorado are to legalize this stuff and risk the lives of young people for tax money to feed the state coffers. Evil greedy bastards. It’s so much worse than it was during the 70’s and it was bad then. Now the drug cartels are coming across the borders while the border patrol agents are baby sitting!

    “Evil stuff”. LOL
