CUSD Governing Board Vacancy

Dr. Victor Torres has resigned his position on the Governing Board of the Castaic Union School District effective February 17, 2017.

The Governing Board has determined, pursuant to Education Code Section 5091, to fill the vacancy by appointment. The Board invites the application of any legally qualified citizen of the District who is interested in serving on the Board.

Application packets are now available at the District Office, 28131 Livingston Avenue, Valencia, California, 91355 and on our website, www.castaicusd.com. Additional information is available from the Office of the Superintendent, 661-257-4500. Deadline for the submission of completed applications is Friday, February 17, 2017, by 4:00 pm.

Applicants will be interviewed by the Board on a scheduled basis on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in the Castaic Union School District Board Room, at 5:30 pm.
