Volunteers with the Prayer Angels for the Military are hosting the 11th annual Military Honor Christmas Tree Lighting and Menorah Lighting event.
The event will be held Saturday, December 3rd, 6 p.m. at the Veterans Historical Plaza in OldTown Newhall.
Truly, a very special and heartwarming event, especially during the holiday season.
They celebrate with Christmas songs, a few words
and prayer. Hot cocoa, coffee and treats are provided. The tree will remain lit, for visitors, every night through New years.
They honor our active duty service members, veterans, our fallen and their families.
Some of our troops are currently deployed, and away from their families. A beautiful, tall, and live pine tree at the plaza will be decorated with red, white & blue lights, ornaments, and laminated photos of our military, past and present.
The photos of our active duty troops will be presented on Blue Stars, and photos of our local fallen, post 9/11, will be on Gold Stars.
Event is hosted by Prayer Angels for the Military, with assistance from the SCV Veterans Memorial Committee,
Back to the War Zone, and the American Legion Post 507. Proudly sponsored by the city of Santa Clarita, and
the Andy Gump Company.
