Despite 24 points from Anthony Cammon and another 14 from Mike Harmon, The Master’s College men’s basketball team, ranked No. 10 in the country, fell to No. 16 Azusa Pacific 77-62 Tuesday night in Azusa, California.
Cammon shot 10-of-19 from the field and added 3-of-4 from the free throw line. Harmon sank 4-of-9 3-pointers and was 5-of-13 from the field.
The Mustangs’s (14-6, 6-3) Paul Brown pulled down nine rebounds, including four offensive boards.
As a team, however, The Master’s shot just 39% from the field for the game and were 5-of-9 from the free throw line.
Four different players from Azusa Pacific (16-4, 6-3) scored in double figures, led by Anthony Johnson’s 21.
The Mustangs return home Saturday to take on San Diego Christian.
