The Job & Career Center at College of the Canyons is hosting several workshops this fall to help job seekers find employment.
The workshops are free and open to the public. Limited seating is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Career advisers are available for one-on-one meetings by appointment.

How To Read A Job Description -“Customizing Resumes” – Learn how to read and break down a job description to identify skills an employer is seeking. Understand how to create a resume that will address these skills and provide you a better chance of getting called for an interview.
Prepping For Your Interview – Overview of common mistakes individuals make during interviews; How to prepare for the interview; Sample interview questions; Questions to ask; Thank you letters; and much more.
Identifying Your Transferable Skills – Learn to identify your skills, identify skills employers are seeking, effectively communicate your skills to employers and look for ways to further develop your skills.
