How sad!!
Eileen Gatica Michelle Gatica
How many people need to die in the same half mile radius ? Two suicides and a unconfirmed, nobody’s finding this weird.
Nope People die dude.
Wow that is profoundly deep I don’t know how my vast intellect can comprehend such a meager statement from such a wise man
It’s probably a homeless man. Nothing strange there, Probably just drowned in heavy floodwaters. Just sad but not weird…
Tons of tweakers in that wash and I’ve heard stories from some sheriff’s and also some kids that have been in that wash about the tweakers and homeless tweakers having machetes and guns in there too. I totally find this weird! The cops should do something about the washes in scv…dangerous grounds there!
I don’t think anyone finds this weird
It’s so heartbreaking to see these things happening so often! Prayers to the loved ones..
Lots of homless people live down in the wash area and its not the first time someone has drowned in the rain water near that area
Castaneda Nito
The tree in the middle closer to the church had a few homeless people that lived there. So sad.

James Villalon again near you!
It’s not rare we have lots of homeless people in our back wash right there . it’s heartbreaking more than likely he was sleeping and got rushed with the high speed flood in the middle of the night .. WE NEED 24-7 HOMELESS SHELTER 365 DAYS A YEAR. Its also endangering us folks that live here with homes backed up to the wash.
Agreed!
There is a shelter by wslmart
The shelter is open. Many do not use the service of the winter shelter because of the no alcohol rules.
Dawn it’s open only 2 months out of the year . and we have horendouse weather all year wether it’s wind heat or rain . I see 10 homeless people walking behind our house everyday and sometimes I’ll have a conversation with them if I’m in the back yard some are 30 yr old women some are 50 year olds . most have no family no way of getting a place to stay and the shelter is one women’s and the man’s is limited space and once again 2 months. We are suppost to be a humane society . to many homeless people die from weather conditions. And by all means I feel they should do some type of work to pay for there housing and food
That’s weird I’ve talked to a few and they aren’t drinkers they just have limited space
There is another shelter on Dayton too.
Sarah that one is the two month one that is always full capacity
Real life church just did a massive fundraiser to keep one of those shelters open all year! It was wonderful to be a part of so much generosity!
Man one should be let to drink especially if they are are raging alcoholic because you can’t really stop. you’re being cold hearted with addiction by assuming everybody can tow an even line some been drinking 20+ Year’s. a foreign sense of immorality shouldn’t prevent a person from being able to have a roof over their head.. and just ain’t Christian. And you do it around the time of your saviors birthday didn’t that guy turn water into wine? To keep the party going? Go figure
They should have a place for the homeless folks! On the other hand though there are a lot of bad people in the wash that are on meth and who knows what else that carry weapons and I think that the cops should do a full investigation in all of the scv washes. I’ve heard some stories that are horrible and also have been told by sheriff’s that have confirmed those stories. It’s all sad and disheartening.
http://scvtv.com/?p=20552 Might be a homicide.

This was right next to the man hanging from a tree. The sheriffs to do something about this meth problem.
Very sad.
ABC7 news should cover this!
This pic was in my back yard and believe me we had a fair share of a couple different news copters haven’t seen anything yet on the news though
I just want to know what happened…it will probably take a while for them to figure out the cause of death.
Sarah I see at least 5 homeless guys back there every night sleeping more than likely he was sleeping up the wash behind Rio Vista and for us it just started flash flooding at like 1 in the morning he properly got rushed by the water and hit an embankment then water went down .. Its really sad because no matter if people down bad or drugs they don’t deserve to die alone and homeless . it kills me while all these rich Hollywood and nil nab players make millions .. I’m honestly sick of it
It’s horrible. I hate death!
http://scvtv.com/?p=20552 It might be a homicide…sadly.
Crazy I helped a friend the Saturday after Thanksgiving feed the homeless living in the wash in C.C. believe me there was no shortage of People to serve, and for the record it’s all over yup Valencia also….
So sad & unfortunate
We lived in a home that backed up to the Wash back in the early 80’s. As kids we roamed the wash for hours and hours as our own play ground. Even then, there were always homeless people living there. No homes built on land filled areas so trees and shrubs were everywhere. I don’t see it getting any better anytime soon. Very sad
Very sad…..
Yikes!
