image [KHTS] Sheriff’s deputies and CHP officers caught a man and a woman Saturday night allegedly tied to a string of robberies.

Around 10 p.m. Friday, the two suspects allegedly robbed a Subway on the 27500 block of Newhall Ranch Road, said Lt. Byron Wainie with the SCV Sheriff’s Station.

Around 10 p.m. Saturday night, the same suspects allegedly robbed a Chevron station near Bouquet and Newhall Ranch Road, followed by a 7/11 robbery around 10:50 p.m.

Officials say all three incidents are related and the suspects have been arrested.

In a separate incident, California Highway Patrol officers, with the help if Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s deputies, were led on a foot pursuit after a man allegedly stole a car in Valencia.

The incident occurred sometime before 9 p.m. on Saturday night near Creekside Road and Auto Center Drive.

According to CHP officials, the male suspect ditched the vehicle before fleeing into the wash. A female suspect was detained, said Sgt. David Shoemaker with the SCV Sheriff’s Station.
