Starting Monday, the Domestic Violence Center of Santa Clarita Valley, in partnership with local Santa Clarita restaurants, is challenging residents to participate in a Scavenger Hunt to locate 11 fairy shelters placed in local restaurants.
The event is part of the Domestic Violence Center’s month-long Fairy Festival fundraiser to raise funds for their 30 Day Shelter. Residents may join on the “fairy” fun festival activity by visiting all 11 restaurants and posting ‘selfies’ on social media alongside the fairy shelter houses with the hashtag #fairysheltersupport.
Those who complete the challenge will win a free ticket to the SCV Fairy Festival Brunch and Family Fun Event held on Saturday, May 21. Fairy Shelter houses were built in partnership with Harmony Hollows.
The ‘Fairy Houses’ will be on display from April 18 – May 5. Times to be determined by restaurant.
