Residents are invited to attend a free New Heights panel discussion, “Marketing for Arts Groups” to explore how marketing is integral to the life and success of arts groups. The panel discussion will take place on Wednesday, April 26, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Centre, located at 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway. No reservations are required to attend.
Panelists Kim Glann, Brittany Saake and Carol Rock will provide valuable insight into many aspects of effective marketing including, tapping community wealth; integrating technologies into your marketing and planning your cost-effective marketing strategy.
Kim Glann has worked for the historic Ford Theatres since 2010, where she has had the pleasure of managing marketing campaigns and ticket services, in addition to working on projects for the Los Angeles County Arts Commission. She is an award-winning Los Angeles theatre producer with an eclectic background that includes working on the public relations campaigns for films such as “Boys Don’t Cry” and “Pi,” performing in the Korczak Festival in Warsaw, Poland and blog writing.
Brittany Saake is the Manager of Marketing and Social Media for the Autry National Center. Brittany has extensive experience marketing the Autry and the San Diego Museum of Art and serves as the co-chair of the SoCal Museums’ Digital Marketing Committee.
Carol Rock is a Santa Clarita-based writer, editor and media consultant. An award-winning journalist, she spent 25 years working with Los Angeles area print, radio and local TV media, earning recognition for her investigative reporting as well as her coverage of the arts, health and lifestyle. She is also an active advocate for the arts and has served on the boards of the Canyon Theatre Guild, the Repertory East Playhouse, and the Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival. While working with the theater groups, she provided marketing services to increase audience engagement and garner sponsors.
