The Santa Clarita Hot Import Car Show will be held Aug. 3 at the College of the Canyons in Valencia. KIA of Valencia is the title sponsor and proceeds will go to the Santa Clarita Valley YMCA as part of KIA’S “Grassroots” give back to the community program. The show starts at noon and continues until 7 p.m. in the COC parking lot and car pre-registration is only $20 which gives entries a chance to compete for cash and trophy prizes.

At the event there will be bands, a DJ, food provided by the Santa Clarita Rotary Club and vendors that display automotive related products. One of the sponsors is Xtreme Audio Creations located in Canyon Country who will be showcasing their custom car creations. Gary Choppe’ the event organizer for KIA comments, “This show will give many import enthusiast a chance to showcase their cool cars and we expect not only local car clubs but from the valley as well.” Gary also states that there are categories for domestic and motorcycle entries as well.

Exhibitors include: Xtreme Audio Creations, 3D Professional Detailing Products, Tenzo Wheels, Fresh Tinting Santa Clarita Vaping Section Valley, JDM Sports, Genome Tuning, Wild Pony Motorsports and the Santa Clarita YMCA. General Manager Michael Crawford at Valencia KIA’s states that giving back to the community is part of their grassroots commitment and looks forward to helping the YMCA program, “We hope that the community comes out and supports this cause and have fun!” Admission is free, but there is a $5.00 donation request for the YMCA.
