Supervisors Ridley-Thomas and Kuehl direct the Chief Executive Officer to negotiate memoranda of understanding with Cities and Public Housing Authorities to provide services for each permanent supportive housing unit created. (Item 6, relates to S-1)

Supervisors Ridley-Thomas and Hahn recommend submitting a letter to Governor Brown and the LA County Legislative Delegation in support of legislation to establish a California Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics School. (Item 7)

Supervisor Ridley-Thomas recommends appointing Supervisor Hahn as a Member to the LA Memorial Coliseum Commission. (Item 8)

Supervisor Ridley-Thomas requests a $10,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension and/or conviction of those responsible for the March 2016 murder of 21-year-old William Fifita who was fatally shot in Hawthorne. (Item 9)

Supervisor Ridley-Thomas requests a $10,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension and/or conviction of those responsible for the May 2017 murder of 30-year-old Andre McMihelk in Compton. (Item 10)

Supervisor Ridley-Thomas requests a $20,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension and/or conviction of those responsible for the November 2016 murder of 16-year-old Danah Rojo-Rivas in Lynwood. (Item 11)

Supervisors Barger and Solis direct the Chief Executive Officer, County department heads and other key stakeholders to create a cohesive multi-year Countywide strategy to support the self-sufficiency goals of transitional-aged foster youth. (Item 16)

Supervisor Barger instructs the County’s legislative advocates to support the establishment of a national memorial and monument to commemorate those who lost their lives at the collapse of the St. Francis Dam in March 1928. (Item 17)

Supervisor Barger recommends the Director of Mental Health to conduct Countywide fundraising activities and other special events in support of the 2017 National Alliance on Mental Illness Walks. (Item 19)

Recommendation to approve the revised project budget for the Lakewood Golf Course Improvements and Cart Barn Replacement Project at $7,586,000. (Item 23)

Recommendation for the Sheriff to execute an agreement with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority for continued law enforcement service provisions at a total amount not to exceed $246,270,631. (Item 24)
