[Rogers Campaign] – Dr. Lee Rogers, candidate for Congress in California’s 25th Congressional District, received the endorsement Sunday of the California Democratic Party. The announcement came at the conclusion of the three-day 2014 California State Democratic Convention in Los Angeles. One month earlier Rogers received 100 percent of the votes by Democratic delegates over his Democratic opponent.

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the California Democratic Party,” said Rogers. “The affirmation by party leadership mirrors the tremendous bi-partisan, grassroots support I’ve received throughout the district. My supporters know I will bring a commonsense, problem-solving approach to Washington to correct the downturn in our economy and provide financial stability to hard working families.”
Last week Rogers earned a spot in the first round of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s (DCCC) highly competitive Red to Blue program as an Emerging Race. The Red to Blue program highlights top Democratic campaigns across the country, and offers them financial, communications, grassroots, and strategic support.
“Being chosen for the selective Red to Blue program means we have support at the national level. Combine that with the California Democratic Party endorsement, it’s clear at every level there is the confidence that the Lee Rogers for Congress campaign has the momentum and message it takes to win in November,” said Rogers.
Dr. Lee Rogers is a nationally-renowned doctor specializing in podiatry and diabetic limb salvage at Sherman Oaks Hospital. Lee and his wife, Susan, live in Simi Valley where they are raising their two daughters, Emma and Lily.
