On Thursday, June 6, Castaic Middle School celebrated student success with the promotion of 240 eighth-grade students.
Castaic Middle School is the only school in the Santa Clarita Valley that continues this long-standing community tradition as our students transition to high school. Of the 240 students who promoted, 71 students were members of the National Junior Honor Society, which requires a minimum 3.5 grade point average (GPA) and 8 hours of community service.
We were also proud to honor 16 students who carried a 4.0 GPA for both years at Castaic Middle School and another 69 students who displayed a superior GPA of a 3.5 or higher.
“We are proud of our 2019 Castaic Middle School promoting students. These students have displayed enormous growth and grit during their tenure at Castaic Union School District. We wish them the best of luck in all future endeavors”, stated Principal Bob Brauneisen.
