Note: Levine entered a plea of not guilty Tuesday.

[District Attorney] – A Castaic Elementary School teacher accused of inappropriately touching young female students is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Joshua Mark Levine (dob 11/28/71) of Canyon Country has been charged with four counts of child molesting in case 5NW00214.

Levine is expected to be arraigned in Department 2 at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Santa Clarita Branch. Prosecutors are asking bail be set at $80,000.

Prosecutors said Levine reportedly engaged in inappropriate behavior with four female students on school grounds in the 2014 – 2015 school year.

If convicted as charged, the defendant faces a possible maximum sentence of 4 years in county jail.

The case is being investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
