The SCV Chamber is pleased to announce the launch of its new Retail Walks program, which will allow our businesses and elected leaders to directly engage and meet with local retail owners across the Santa Clarita Valley.
“The SCV Chamber has been working to formulate our new Retail Walk program, which will allow chamber members and elected officials to walk local retail areas throughout the Santa Clarita Valley and meet with shop owners and managers,” said Nancy Starczyk, Chair of the SCV Chamber Board of Directors.
The Retail Walk program will be driven by the Chamber’s new Small Business Council with the goal of directly connecting businesses with retail stores across the Santa Clarita Valley to have a conversation about important issues facing retailers and support services and opportunities that the SCV Chamber, City and County offer to our small businesses.
The SCV Chamber plans to conduct the retail walks with members of the Chamber’s new Small Business Council, Santa Clarita City Council and other elected officials.
“We have a robust business advocacy program and new value-driven programming to better meet the needs of our business community,” said Ivan Volschenk, Managing Partner with Evolve Business Strategies which manages the SCV Chamber of Commerce. “The SCV Chamber supports our small and local retail businesses and we’re actively bringing greater value to our membership.”
The Retail Walks program will begin in October 2019 and will focus on retail areas across the Santa Clarita Valley in each of our local communities including Canyon Country, Castaic, Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch, and Valencia.
