The city of Santa Clarita will host community blood drives on Tuesday, Dec. 3, and Friday, Dec. 6, to aid the American Red Cross. The City invites residents to embrace the giving spirit this holiday season and donate blood at various City locations to help those in need.

The blood drive on Dec. 3, will take place at The Centre, located at 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. To schedule an appointment online, enter the sponsor code “SportsComplexSC” at redcrossblood.org.

There are two locations where residents can donate blood on Dec. 6. The first opportunity will be in the Century Room at City Hall, located at 23920 Valencia Boulevard. Stop by between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to donate. When registering online at redcrossblood.org for this location, use the sponsor code “CityOfSantaClarita.”

If you would like to donate at the Valencia Library location at 23743 Valencia Boulevard, visit the library between 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The sponsor code to register for this location is “ValenciaLibrary.”

Every two seconds, somebody in the U.S. needs blood. The city of Santa Clarita is committed to helping the American Red Cross in their life-saving efforts and encourages residents to come together again to support this meaningful cause.
