The College of the Canyons track and field team broke four school records and won seven events on Friday afternoon at the Western State Conference Relays at Ventura College.
Jasmine Hall broke another mark for the second consecutive meet, as she leapt 18-4 in the long jump, after topping the field. Hall also won her second title in the javelin after a 127-5 hurl.
Tim White set new records in the long jump (23-9.5) and high jump (6-11), taking home first-place finishes in both events. He also came in first in the triple jump, after leaping 52-4.5.

The distance medley relay of Grant Stromberg, Anthony Fowler, Joel Estrada and Rodrigo Ornelas turned in a top school time with a 10:19.48, coming in first place in the event.
The men’s team also was first in the 4×200-meter relay (Andrew Sanchez, Fowler, Jeremy Williams, Randle Williams) with a time of 1:29.85.
Canyons will compete in the squad’s first conference meet of the year on Friday, Feb. 28, as they travel to Bakersfield College.
