A male black adult and female black adult entered a business near the above location and stole golf clubs. The two left the store and entered their vehicle. An off-duty police officer observed the theft while inside and followed the two to their vehicle. When the off-duty officer attempted to detain the two suspects, the driver sped toward him in an attempt to run him over but he jumped out of the way and was not injured.

Burglaries to Vehicles

People breaking into vehicles are becoming an all too common trend lately. Please stay vigilant. Do not keep anything of value inside your vehicle. Make sure you lock all your doors and don’t forget to remove your garage door opener from within your vehicle as well. Remember, if you see someone or something that does not look right or looks suspicious, it probably is. Call the Sheriff’s Department (661) 255-1121 or 911, and have a deputy come check it out.

As always, please call me if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Deputy Jonathan Wilson
