A moment of silence in memory of 1,500 residents who passed away with their identities unknown or remains unclaimed and set to be buried in the County Cemetery on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.
ABC 7 and the County Fire Department honored in recognition of the 25th Anniversary of the Spark of Love campaign.
Instruct the Executive Officer of the Board, County Counsel and the Personnel Director to report back on the County’s reporting process on sexual harassment policies and procedures. (Item 3)
Instruct Public Health, Public Social Services and Health Services to describe current efforts to screen for food insecurity in Clinics, as well as best practices, challenges and lessons learned from other jurisdictions. (Item 4)

Authorization sought for a 30-year ground lease with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service. (Item 14)
Authorization sought for Children and Family Services to amend three Residentially Based Services contracts. (Item 19)
Authorization sought for amendments to five master agreements for Radiology and teleradiology services to extend the term through December 31, 2024 at an estimated annual amount of $2,547,275. (Item 24)
Authorization sought to amend the Transportation Overflow Services master agreement with various ambulance companies to extend the term through December 31, 2024, at an estimated annual amount of $5,000,000. (Item 26)
Authorization sought for Mental Health to execute an amendment to the existing Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Remediation Project agreement with Sierra-Cedar, in the amount of $2,841,731. (Item 28)
Approval and instruction sought for the Chair to sign a contract with InsideOUT Writers to provide a writing program at Probation Juvenile Halls under the Juvenile Justice Crime Prevention Act. (Item 29)
The Claims Board recommends a $300,000 settlement for a lawsuit alleging civil rights violations and excessive force when Plaintiff was shot and arrested by a Sheriff’s Deputy. (Item 34)
