If there is no “War on Women,” why are Republicans blocking the “Violence Against Women Act”? More than 3 women per day are killed as a result of domestic violence, by their husband or boyfriend. That statistic is as shocking as it should be nauseating and shameful. Those are REAL DEATHS, by REAL attacks on women. And what are Republicans DOING about it?
Currently the USA is one of just a handful of Nations that has not ratified the CEDAW Treaty. Why?
Nobody implied that the Lily Ledbetter Act was a total solution. But it was a STEP in the right direction. And that is a direction that Republicans continually refuse to face (forward), and a STEP that they continually refuse to take. Why?
