Orale! Que padre!!! No lo sabía!!!
Really need a cng station on east side of Sclarita.
I power up at Sams club.?
How does it work.? Do you pay for it.?
Yes. It’s NOT free .
How much does it cost?
Excellent!
Excellent!
Is this faster than filling up the tank with gas?
Are there any e85 stations in scv?
They have been up there for a month or two
So who is paying for the electricity these people are using to refuel their vehicles? If it is ‘free’ do those of us who cant afford electric cars get free gas from the city…aka Santa Ckarita taxoayers? Electricity is expensive and getting more so…I hope there is a meter on those and the cat owners are paying for it…
Most electric refueling stations are self sustaining and powered by nearby solar panels. No emissions, no constant cost from the supplier, no cost to the user. Isn’t renewable energy beautiful?
It’s open 24/7…no solar at night…and I am sure there are no batteries big enough to sustain the charge to charge cars at night…and I didn’t see solar panels in the pic
From the article…It is open 24/7 and has NRG EVgo membership pricing.
People are paying, quit with the whining.
It’s not whining…just tired of paying for everyone else’s bills..hope it is metered and they do pay to plug in…other plug in stations in CA there have been no cost to the car owner so was just wondering about these…nothing against electric cars..however not convinced they are totally environmentally friendly now as advertised with those batteries at their end of life and how that electricity is generated that is charging them but that should get better. But thanks for claifying about the paying…
I don’t agree with providing free fuel (electricity or otherwise) to alternative fuel vehicles. Our taxes paid for this with no direct benefit to the general population.
That said, while we’re at it, let’s get a hydrogen fueling station in SCV asap. Closest one is Burbank — not very encouraging to those who wish to use true alternative fuels…

It’s not free. Will you sleep at night now?
It’s not free. Read the article again
I stand corrected! I though this was another free one being installed (e.g., at malls and such). I stand by my comment, however, that we could really use a hydrogen fueling station!
