The City of Santa Clarita, in partnership with the Community Energy Partnership and Energy Upgrade California, invites residents to attend a FREE Home Upgrade Workshop on Thursday, November 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Old Town Newhall Library.
The workshop, hosted by The Energy Network, will inform Santa Clarita residents on the benefits of upgrading their homes to be more energy efficient. The meeting will include basic building science, such as the steps to take before adding solar to a home, and the numbers and facts behind the way homes use and lose energy. Additionally, participants will learn about available rebates and financing to help make upgrading easier.
Panelists at the workshop will include contractors with the statewide Energy Upgrade California home upgrade rebate program, who will provide information and tips to help interested residents get started on making money-saving home upgrades. The event will also feature refreshments and the opportunity to win prizes.
Space at the workshop is limited, so interested participants are encouraged to RSVP soon online.
