The Santa Clarita WorkSource Center is hosting two recruitment events on Friday, Nov. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon to identify candidates for more than 125 available positions with local companies. Selected candidates could be working as early as next week. The recruitment events will be held at the Santa Clarita WorkSource Center, located at the College of the Canyons’ University Center in Suite 250 at 26455 Rockwell Canyon.

The first recruitment opportunity begins Friday, Nov. 16, at 9 a.m., targeting individuals with at least one year of experience in a call center with excellent customer service and listening skills. More than 25 full-time Customer Service Call Center positions are available in Santa Clarita. A total of 28 seats are available for the recruitment and individuals interested are encouraged to register with the Center in advance. You must arrive before 9:00 a.m. to participate.

Also on November 16, Exact Staff Personnel will be at the WorkSource Center from 9 a.m. to noon, recruiting for more than 100 open positions in Warehouse/Distribution, including order pullers, assembly, pick/pack, inventory, RF scanners, shipping and receiving, forklift drivers and more.

Finally, on Tuesday, Nov. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., U.S. Security will be recruiting for Black Friday licensed guards and non-licensed crowd control individuals. Guard positions pay $17-$19/hour and crowd control pay ranges from $13/hour to $15/hour. Applicants must have a clean criminal background, be able to pass a drug test, and be available to work starting Thanksgiving night, November 22.

Qualified applicants must be 18 years of age, have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and should be available for work immediately.

Applicants should bring a copy of their resume as well as a State issued ID such as Driver’s License or Passport and Social Security Card. Onsite interviews may be conducted for those applicants that best meet the qualifications of the employers.
