The Rancho Camulos Museum National Historic Landmark 10 miles west of Valencia on scenic Highway 126 will host an evening of trivia and treats with a local history twist on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Santa Clarita Valley historian and Rancho Camulos Museum Board Chair Leon Worden will emcee a local history trivia contest.
Guests will be able to team up and show off their knowledge of local history. Worden promises to do his best to stump participants with a range of questions about fun local facts and colorful personalities who made history, including at Rancho Camulos.
Bragging rights and prizes will go to the winners.
In Rancho Camulos’ Beer Garden, guests will enjoy the sounds of Western singer-songwriter John Bergstrom as they sample beverages provided by the Institutional Ale Company, a trending Camarillo microbrewery.
Southern-style barbecue items will be available for purchase and include a fabulous homemade dessert bar.
Check the Rancho Camulos Museum Facebook page for the list of great silent auction items that will be offered.
All proceeds will benefit the nonprofit museum’s efforts to preserve and protect this local historical treasure.
The Trivia & Treats night is free for current Rancho Camulos Museum members, and only $15 for not-yet-members. Ticket purchase includes museum membership.
