LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan announced the sixth ballot counting update for the Nov. 6 General Election on Monday afternoon.
The update includes 84,828 ballots processed since Election Night, consisting of Vote by Mail and Provisional ballots.
The total election results count is now 2,959,254 which is 56.90 percent of eligible county voters.
The estimated number of outstanding ballots left to be counted is 100,000, consisting of the following:
* Provisional ballots: 100,000
These results are subject to change throughout the Official Election Canvass period as our canvass staff process VBM envelopes and de-process precinct supplies. This estimate includes additional Vote by Mail Ballots postmarked on or before Election Day and received through Friday, Nov. 9.
The next ballot counting update will be on Wednesday, Nov. 28.
