Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan announced the third ballot counting update for the Nov. 6 General Election Friday afternoon.
The update includes 262,933 ballots processed since Election Night, consisting of Vote by Mail ballots.
The total election results count is now 2,632,042, which is 50.61 percent of eligible Los Angeles County voters.
The estimated number of outstanding ballots left to be counted is 422,600 consisting of the following:
* Provisional ballots: 355,000
* Vote by Mail ballots: 63,000 (includes ballots received through Early Voting and VBM Drop-Offs)
* ballots: 600 (includes damaged/withheld ballots)
* Conditional Voter Registration: 4,000
These results are subject to change throughout the Official Election Canvass period as our canvass staff process VBM envelopes and de-process precinct supplies. This estimate includes additional Vote by Mail Ballots postmarked on or before Election Day and received through last Friday.
