Friday night from 7 to 9:30, the Valencia Jazz and Blues Concert Series returns to Town Center Drive at McBean Parkway, on the street outside the Hyatt Valencia. The summer series launches with the Tony Galla Band featuring “House Blend” favorite Sara Niemietz and Mark LeVang.

Saturday afternoon and evening, the 6th annual Roadshow Revival tribute to American music icon Johnny Cash rocks the Ventura Fairgrounds. Los Lobos headlines. Also on the bill: The Paladins, Dale Watson & the Lonestars, James Intveld of The Blasters, Johnny Two Bags from Social Distortion, “House Blend” stars Hard Six, and a bunch more touring and local bands. Along with the music, the Roadshow includes food trucks and other vendors, custom cars, cool motorcycles, and hot pin-ups. Tickets go from $5 to $175.
