David Perez, Santa Clarita-based account executive with Marketing Maven, is the inaugural honoree of the bi-coastal company’s Future Vision Award for his extraordinary work developing artificial intelligence chatbots for social media clients.

One of the award-winning integrated marketing and public relations agency’s core values is being futuristic and visionary in its PR and marketing work for its clients.

This encompasses an individual’s ability to reject the status quo and embrace the vision of the future, and helps the agency identify trends and predict the changing market.

“David Perez embodies the futuristic mindset valued at Marketing Maven,” said Marketing Maven CEO and President Lindsey Carnett. “He understands that our industry is not stagnant, and he makes it his mission to research, evaluate and implement innovative technologies for our company that keep us on the forefront of marketing communications. We are thrilled to honor his achievements.”

Perez developed a plan to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots to Marketing Maven’s social media department. He researched which AI technology was easily adaptable and contained the tools to service various social campaigns.

To show the full capabilities of this new tool, Perez created a demo campaign that contained all the storytelling aspects the agency would utilize for clients. This brought the concept to life and is a testament to his vision.

“I am honored to receive this first award for visionary thinking at Marketing Maven,” Perez said. “Throughout my career, I’ve strived to look beyond the status quo. I believe chatbots will play an integral role in every aspect of the communications world of the future and I’m proud to help Marketing Maven stake a claim in this fascinating new space brimming with possibilities.”
