[KHTS] – Burbank Police Department officers arrested a Santa Clarita man early Monday morning after he allegedly stabbed another man, officials said Wednesday.
Around 1:15 a.m. Monday, Burbank police officers responded to the 600 block of Cambridge Drive in Burbank, regarding an assault taking place, said Sergeant Claudio Losacco in an email.
Two men who had known each other for several years got into a fight, Losacco said.
Ryan Davis, 35, of Santa Clarita, allegedly stabbed the victim, who is a 39-year-old male, in the upper torso, Losacco said. The victim denied medical treatment and transportation to the hospital because the injuries were not severe.
Davis was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the Burbank City Jail on a $35,000 bond, Losacco said. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office filed one count of 245(a)(1) PC, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, against Davis.
Davis is expected to appear in court Wednesday, Losacco said.
