Every Weekend Day the Gilchrist Farm Holidays at the Farm Event FEATURES:

Free Admission, Free Parking. 9 a.m-4 p.m. Santa onsite from 10 a.m-3 p.m. (Santa will also be present during the private ticketed Breakfast with Santa Event from 8-10 a.m).

Join the Gilchrist Farm Equestrian Program to see horseback riding students riding and leading all of the Gilchrist Farm horses and ponies in festive holiday costumes.

-Letter Writing Station-write your own letter to Santa

-Goat Milking Demonstration at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

-Festive Pig Races at Noon and 3 p.m.. Join their Jingle Pigs as they race around the track.

-Wool Spinning Demonstrations-Learn how to turn Wool (from their Sheep) into yarn.

-Live Music

-Visit the Artisan Marketplace to buy handmade and unique holiday gifts from local vendors

Festive Farm Visit, Activities and Rides

-$5 Festive Farm Animal Visit Visit decked out goats, ducks, chickens, pigs, sheep, bunnies and more goats during the festive farm visit. Meet the cows. Also stop by to see the giant african sulcatta tortoise, guinea fowl, and peacocks. Ticket required for all visitors in the party over the age of 2 years old that want to enter the petting area (children ages 2 and under are free to enter with a paid adult.

-$5 Caroling Wagon Ride Enjoy a tour of the whole farm by taking a ride on our very festive caroling Wagon.  Pulled by a tractor, this ride gives the whole family an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and see the nooks and crannies of the farm.  Enjoy a holiday story and some carols while passing through the festive farm. Suitable for all ages and sizes. Children under 2 ride free with adult.

-$5 Festive Farm Train Super cute farm train decked out for the holidays with three barrel car, pig, horse and cow. This is great for the youngest friends from toddlers on up to whenever they think they are too old for it. One Adult may accompany their little one at no extra charge.

-$5 Giant Jingle Slide. Best for ages 4 and up, this fabulously fun slide is an adventure. Slide Wristband is good for all day, so go and go and go and go.

-$5 Coin hunt maze, Enjoy the season with this fun adventure through our Straw Bale Maze. Celebrate Hanukkah during this fun adventure.

Horse & Pony Rides

-$10 Reindeer Pony Carousel. Enjoy a traditional pony ride under our red canopy. Have fun with the decked out ponies.  This is perfect for children that are over one year old and able to sit independently up to 80 pounds. It is a seat belted ride on a traditional pony carousel.

-$10 Reindeer Pony Experience. Our newest pony ride takes your more adventurous little one around a longer track wearing a cowboy hat helmet. Print photo option available.

-$15 Horseback Ride-Arena. This is a full size horse ride for children and adults ages 4 and up, and weighing less than 225 pounds. This is a hand lead horse ride in our round arena that is great for bigger kids who do not need the seatbelt.

-$25 Horseback Ride-Farm Walk. This is a hand lead horse ride around the farm.  It is a bigger adventure for our more confident children age 5 and up all the way to less experienced adults who weigh less than 225 pounds. This is about a 15-20 minute ride.

Gilchrist Farm Mining Company

Adventure back in time to The Gilchrist Farm Mining Company to try your hand at prospecting for gems, minerals, fossils and fun. Enter history to discover gems like amethyst, quartz, pyrite, and maybe even find fossils or an arrowhead. Each bag of mining rough contains a wonderful mix of gems. Sift, sort and marvel at your discovery.

-$35 MEGA Miner Rough-Includes a “big” surprise.

The Range at Gilchrist Farm

-$15 Archery Learn to shoot archery or practice what you already know. The safely run range gives the chance to try,  The farm provide all of the equipment. Best for guests over the age of 7.

-$15 Axe Throwing Try this traditional sport. Hurl axes at wooden targets to test accuracy and strength. Great for adults and children strong enough to throw. Age 10 and over.

-$25 Archery/Axe Throwing combo-The best of both worlds. A session of archery and a session of axe throwing.

-$5 Mini Range, Now the youngest friends can try their hands at archery or bean bag toss games – located next to the Gilchrist Farm Mining Company. Intended for young children or those with special needs, under the age of 8.

Santa’s Workshop

-$7 Crafts at Santa’s Workshop. Join in the fun to Make and Take some cheer. Horseshoe decorating, candle making, sand art, wood crafting, leather stamping. So many seasonal activities, so much fun.

Full Day Wristbands $55. One child (12 and under) with up to two accompanying adults or two adults (12 & over). Add additional children’s wristbands in the same group (same adults) for $45 each.

Includes: Festive farm animal visit, caroling wagon ride, festive farm train, giant Jingle Slide, and the Coin Hunt Maze all day and choose three of the following activities (you get three tabs to spend any way you’d like. The tabs are good for the following items/activities):

No dogs or other pets allowed with the exception of service animals as defined by the ADA. Emotional Support Animals are not included. Must be appropriately identified and well behaved as per ADA guidelines.

Gilchrist Farm accepts cash and credit cards for all activities, merchandise and food. The Artisan Marketplace vendors will vary in what forms of payment they accept.
