[LASD] – Juan Rodriguez, male Hispanic 50 years-old, drove from Palmdale to Cudahy expecting to meet a 17 year-old girl he had met and solicited on the internet. What he met was an undercover sheriff’s detective, followed shortly by an arrest team who detained him for Arranging a Meeting with a Minor for a Lewd Purpose, a felony charge. Rodriguez was booked and subsequently bailed out after a court date was scheduled.
On Wednesday, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) and their task force partners, deployed female decoys on a boulevard in South El Monte. By the end of the night, 16 adult males and a juvenile male had been arrested for soliciting various sex acts from undercover members of the Human Trafficking Task Force.
Operations such as these are ongoing enforcement methods for the Task Force, in an effort to impact the DEMAND side of Human Trafficking, utilizing a regionalized approach.
In August, detectives arrested Marion John Dixon, male Black 19 years-old, of Los Angeles, and Dimitri Levant Jordan, male Black 25 years-old, also from Los Angeles, in separate investigations, after they each recruited undercover detectives on a social media site to become commercial sex workers. They were arrested after attempting to meet the victims at a local business in the city of Compton, and booked for trafficking related charges, with a $150,000 bail.
On Tuesday, the District Attorney’s Office filed felony pimping, pandering, and grand theft charges against Amran Lamar Stovall, male Black 48 years-old, of Los Angeles. Stovall was arrested after he lured an adult female from her home in North Carolina to Los Angeles where she began working for him as a commercial sex worker. She endured physical and sexual assaults at his hands and at the hands of sex buyers.
During the investigation, additional victims were also identified who had been recruited on the web by Stovall. He was also identified as having previously solicited an undercover LASD Detective, over a social media website, to work for him as a commercial sex worker. Stovall’s bail was set at $125,000.
Whether on the streets or in the cyber-world, detectives investigate cases of exploitation and trafficking to identify the buyers as well as those who exploit the trafficking victims for money.
Traffickers typically target the most vulnerable members of our community and it is the goal of the task force to protect our communities while targeting those who exploit them.

I also tried to report the two women still working and I was laughed at and pushed to ultimate frustration by the Lennox station who just said they could do nothing about the two girls. Please help stop women predators from manipulating the law when it’s convenient for them. The websites keep rolling and the girls keep playing the cops because she was deaf how could they tell she was lying they couldn’t

Many women are victims but many more are not. These women all know what they are doing whether deaf crippled terrible up bringing is no excuse to feel sorry for women who love sex and realize how much power they have in selling it.
