Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Crime Prevention Unit
[LASD] – A robbery occurred at a business located on the 26000 block of Magic Mountain Pkwy. While a female was walking through the parking lot, several other females approach her from behind and an argument ensued. One suspect then bumped the victim and attempted to punch her. The suspect then stole her bracelet and her cell phone.
There were three reported larcenies for this week. An IPhone was stolen from the victim’s locker at a school located on the 26000 block of Valencia Blvd. An IPhone was stolen from an employee at a business located on the 26000 block of the Magic Mountain Pkwy. The IPhone was left in the break room. An Ipad was stolen from a business located at the 24000 block of Pico Canyon Rd during business hours.
On a positive note, there were eight arrests made in Zone 3 this week: Two were for narcotic violations. Another was in connection to the mentioned theft on school grounds. Four males and a female were arrested for the armed robbery that occurred on September 3rd at a hotel located on The Old Rd. The suspects are linked to several similar robberies throughout the state.
Make sure to always close your garage doors and lock your vehicles. Do not leave any personal items in plain view. If you need to leave personal items in the car, secure them in the trunk. Be vigilant! If you see any suspicious activity, call the Sheriff’s station at (661) 255-1121 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.
