Bill Miranda
In an effort to help local businesses better embrace the Latino marketplace, Bill Miranda, CEO of the Santa Clarita Valley Latino Chamber of Commerce, will deliver the presentation “Hablando de Negocios: Talking Business” during the spring 2013 College of the Canyons Chancellor’s Circle Breakfast Briefing.
Included in the presentation will be useful insights about:
* How best to communicate with the Latino customer base
* How attracting Latino customers can help grow your business, increase your sales and improve profits
* Demographics of the Latino market and how Latinos are the fastest growing purchasing population segment in the United States
“Latinos are spending $1.2 trillion a year in the U.S. where we have the second largest Spanish speaking population in the world,” Miranda said. “Getting only a small piece of the market can boost sales and profits to another level. This presentation will get you started.”
The spring 2013 Breakfast Briefing will take place at 7:30 a.m. Friday, March 8, in the Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook University Center, Room 258, on the college’s Valencia campus (University Center Drive entrance).
Breakfast will be served beginning at 7:30 a.m., followed by the morning’s main presentation at 8:15 a.m.
Registration for the Chancellor’s Circle Breakfast Briefing is free for Chancellor’s Circle members and $15 for non-members. Tickets are available through the COC Foundation.
All reservations must be received by Monday, March 4.
