After transferring from Pepperdine University, following his freshman season, sophomore outfielder David Oppenheim has found a home with the College of the Canyons baseball team and now leads the squad in batting average (.377) and on-base percentage (.455). The Seattle, Wash., native now turned-Southern California resident is ranked third in the conference for his batting average, third with 43 hits and 10th for his 114 at-bats.
