The 32nd Annual Hart Rampage Marching Band Field Show Tournament is happening on Saturday, Oct. 24, at College of the Canyons Cougar Stadium. More than 30 matching bands are expected to perform at this day-long event.
Rampage is one of the largest and most prestigious band events in the state. In addition to the bands, color guard teams from all over Southern California will be performing, including all six local bands from the Hart School District: Canyon, Golden Valley, Hart, Saugus, Valencia and West Ranch. The competition is judged by the Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association (SCSBOA).
In addition to the field show performances, there will be food vendors, merchandise booths and many prizes to be raffled. The evening will conclude with the popular mass drumline and colorful awards ceremony. It will be your only opportunity to see all six Hart School District marching bands at a single event.
Hart High School was recognized in 2013 as a California Distinguished School of the Arts, in large part due to its outstanding music program. Rampage 2015 is the primary fundraiser for this remarkable program.
Tickets are available on the day of the show at the gate and are $10 for adults, $8 for students, with children under five admitted free. Gates open at noon. For more information go to www.hartregiment.com or call 661-347-8461.
