The City of Santa Clarita invites residents to hop into spring with the return of Eggstravaganza and the Splash and Dash Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26.
At 10 a.m. sharp, kids ages 10 and under can join the fast, fun and free “egg scramble” at Central Park, located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road. Eggstravaganza will feature a traditional egg hunt for plastic eggs full of candy and an opportunity to meet Mr. E. Bunny. The hunt will be divided into age groups allowing everyone from toddlers to elementary-age children to enjoy the friendly competition.
Meanwhile, across town at 10:00 a.m. the 8th Annual Splash & Dash Egg Hunt will be underway at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center, located at 20850 Centre Pointe Parkway. Kids ages 10 and under are invited to bring their baskets into the pool for a unique egg hunt in the waterslide pool. Parents are encouraged to accompany all small children as they enter the water. Participants will be admitted into the Aquatic Center in groups of 200, with everyone getting a chance to participate.
Attendees at both events are encouraged to bring a non-perishable or canned food item to donate to the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry.
