1863 - Gen. Edward F. Beale loans money to A.A. Hudson and Oliver P. Robbins to erect toll house in Newhall Pass [story]
toll house

seniorcenter_srctr_cityphotoThe Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center is looking for volunteers.

You can make a difference by volunteering as little as one day a week or even becoming an “on-call” volunteer.

Volunteers are needed in the SCV Senior Center’s Nutrition Program to pack lunches for the homebound elderly, serve lunches, and assist with clean up.

Your time and talents can make the difference in the life of a senior!

For information about how you can realize your passion for helping others, contact Robin: 661-259-9444 or rclough@scv-seniorcenter.org.
