SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — 2015 proved to be another exciting year for The Master’s College Athletic Department. Across the board, TMC’s student-athletes produced some of the most memorable moments in school history. The countdown of the top ten moments of 2015 continues with number seven.
7) Shackelford Nets Back-To-Back Career-High Scoring Nights
On Dec. 3, Reid Shackelford drained 11 three-pointers en route to 35 points against the NCAA D.I Fresno State Bulldogs in an 84-72 exhibition loss at the Save Mart Center. Shackelford’s total three-pointers made (11) and three-pointers attempted (19) were the most posted since the collegiate career of Mike Penberthy during the 1995-96 and 1996-97 seasons. In addition, Shackelford set a Save Mart Center record for opponents’ points scored (35).
A week later in the Mustangs’ GSAC opener, Shackelford scored a career-high 32 points against Menlo College in TMC’s 76-68 victory over the Oaks.
